{"id":113,"date":"2021-05-15T13:41:06","date_gmt":"2021-05-15T13:41:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/malina.artstudioworks.net\/yummy\/?p=113"},"modified":"2021-10-21T13:01:09","modified_gmt":"2021-10-21T13:01:09","slug":"my-name-is-khadija","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/khadiga.com\/index.php\/2021\/05\/15\/my-name-is-khadija\/","title":{"rendered":"My name is Khadija."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h4 class=\"fs24 wp-block-heading\">On a rainy December night, my parents named me \u201c<strong>Khadija<\/strong>\u201d, after the Prophet (Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon Him) Muhammad&#8217;s wife &#8211; may Allah be pleased with her- \u201cKhadija Bint Khuwaylid\u201d.\u00a0 I feel extra special being named after one of the Prophet\u2019s wives, one of the Mothers of the Believers, may Allah be pleased with them all. \u201cKhadiga\u201d, with a G as per the Egyptian accent, was my parents\u2019 choice upon my birth, yet when I was eighteen and beginning to love the Arabic language more, I decided I wanted to be called \u201cKhadija\u201d, as is the Standard Arabic pronunciation.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Who is Khadija? I am a Muslim mom of three, striving to live my life in accordance with Allah\u2019s Laws and raise my kids on the Deen\u00a0 (Arabic for Religion).
